Welcome to our series #Webcomic that scours social media for interesting webcomic conversations or announcements. It’s just a brief, informal survey of what is going on, and we’re always sure we’ll miss something. So please, feel free to comment on the article with any tweets that you found funny, insightful, or just plain interesting!
This adorable comic can be found on Instagram under @wawawiwacomics. There are plenty more cute shark comics on the account and it is well worth a follow.
The official Twitter account for the webtoon Urban Animal shared an update. This got my attention because of the eye-catching update graphic to promote the release of the new page. It’s very stylish.
This goes to show if you’re not including a preview or teaser with your update news… what are you doing?
The creator of the adorable Litterbox Comics recently hit the big Four-Oh. Heck of a milestone. I just tell everyone I am 29 and will continue to do so for the rest of my life.
Supermassive Black Hole A*
Hell of a title, right? The update Tweet for this comic caught my attention because of the art preview. Are we noticing a trend on how to get people to visit your webcomic site?
I’ve not managed to read the comic just yet, but the art of this webcomic looks really good. It looks like it will have a very energetic story. We’ll see.
Again, update images are most important to the webcomic promotion process on social media.
One thing that I have not seen before is essentially using a tweet-thread attached to the promo tweet to serve as a page commentary. That is exactly what the creator of The Heroes of CRASH did with their post, however, and it seems like an interesting way to encourage engagement with your readers. Pretty cool!
That’s #Webcomic for this week. You can always Tweet us if you want to show up in future articles. 😉
